The Ewiiaapaayp Tribe's tribal members govern themselves as a General Council, composed of all tribal members of voting age, and through its Tribal Governance Commission composed of its Tribal elected officials, under its tribal constitution enacted and approved in 1973 and amended in 2002. Tribal officials elected are:

• Michael Garcia, Vice Chairman & Tribal Environmental Office Director
• Robert Pinto Sr., Treasurer/Secretary
• Gloria Pinto, James Robertson, Harlan Pinto Jr., General Council Members

The Ewiiaapaayp Tribal Government is a Self-Governance tribe in accordance with Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, P.L. 93-638, as amended. (25 U.S.C. § 450 et seq.).
